BRCGS Global Standard for Food Safety – Issue 9 Lead Implementer

Course Objective

This course is designed to equip participants with leadership capability and in-depth knowledge of the BRCGS Global Standard for Food Safety – Issue 9. The program explains the intent and requirements of each clause of the Standard and provides practical methods and tools to support effective implementation and ongoing compliance.

By the end of the course, participants will have the confidence and competence to lead a BRCGS implementation or re-certification project and to support an organization in establishing, implementing, managing, maintaining, and continually improving a food safety and quality management system in accordance with the BRCGS Global Standard for Food Safety – Issue 9.

 

Prerequisites

Basic knowledge of management system standards and good knowledge in food safety are recommended to facilitate the learning process

 

Course Format

The course is divided into chapters and sub-chapters. Each chapter begins with oral presentation depicting the theoretical notions followed by group or individual practical work or case studies. At the end of training, a final exam will take place in order to provide the participant with a certificate of achievement.

    8. Production risk zones
    9. Requirements for traded products
  • BRCGS Audit Protocols:
    1. Announced and unannounced audit rules
    2. Non-conformities classification and grading system
    3. Post audit requirements
