Production management: from floor to flow
Course Objective
This course is designed to equip participants with practical production management capabilities and a solid understanding of modern manufacturing systems. The program introduces production flows, productivity improvement tools, and key performance indicators (KPIs), while emphasizing effective team leadership, resource optimization, and operational excellence on the production floor.
By the end of the course, participants will have the knowledge to analyze and improve production performance, manage teams and resources efficiently, and minimize waste while ensuring quality.
Prerequisites
- Basic knowledge or experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment
- Analytical skills to interpret production data and KPIs
Course Format
The course is divided into chapters and sub-chapters. Each chapter begins with oral presentation depicting the theoretical notions followed by group or individual practical work or case studies. At the end of training, a final exam will take place in order to provide the participant with a certificate of achievement.
